Sumerian Blood Playtesters Needed

Sumerian Blood: Gilgamesh Against the Gods

Indie developers can’t do it alone, so sometimes they call on the masses for assistance in getting their game out the door.  The developer of Sumerian Blood: Gilgamesh Against the Gods needs your help.  This PC game is still in alpha, but needs testers to try out the multiplayer, find bugs, help with balancing, and suggest new features.

Here’s a description of the game in the developer’s own words:

Sumerian Blood is, much like chess, a 1 vs 1 game where each player has his own army on his side of the board. Unlike chess, when a piece is moved on an enemy piece, instead of an automatic removal of the enemy piece a battle arena screen is open. The two pieces duel to the death in a fast paced action combat.
SB is set in a fantasy version of Mesopotamia, where mythological creatures exist. The story of the game is a tale of Gilgamesh angering the gods(especially the creator god An) which in turn have the gods make the decision of eradicating Gilgamesh and his people.

If you’re interested in helping out, you can follow the instructions here to download the game and get set up.  Indie developers need all the help and support they can get.  Plus, this is your chance to weigh in on the game while there’s time for your feedback to have a big impact on the balance and features that end up in the released product.  The developer can be reached at support[at]pompipompi.net

Woah, I saw this game on the TIGSource but it didn’t rise my interest at first but now when I’ve watched the movie…it’s very nice!

    I should try it :)
