Spectrangle360 Released on Xbox

Spectrangle360 for Xbox 360

Indie developer Iron Reaver Games is proud to announce the launch of their first title, Spectrangle360 through the Xbox Live Indie Games service. Spectrangle360 is a digital implementation of the board game Spectrangle. Iron Reaver Games has worked with Jumbo, the board game’s IP holder, to bring the title to the Xbox platform.

The gist of the game is that players take turns placing “Trangs”, triangular colored pieces, next to each other on a triangular board. The stipulation is that each side of a “Trang” has a different color, and to place one means that an adjacent piece must have that some color on the side that touches. You score points based on each piece’s point number as well as whether you manage to place your pieces on bonus spaces on the board. There’s some randomness and some strategy, but it all looks like a lot of fun.

  • In game notifications when online games are available
  • and customizable playing surfaces (wood, felt etc…)
