As the titular whaleshark Astro Shark, players must guide the creature to his love Laika the Russian Space Dog. Using simple, one-touch controls, players swing Astro Shark around asteroids in order to avoid being destroyed. Along the way, a variety of enemies and strange, new animal friends are encountered, all in a quest to reunite true love.

The demo is available on Google Play and includes a small handful of levels for players to try out. The demo was released in order to garner some excitement for the game, and unit9.apps has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to turn that early interest into funds to help finish the game.
