		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for asking. &quot;The Parting&quot; by Beverly Lewis isn&#039;t a bad place to start, as it tackles one of the challenging issues of how Amish define Christianity. Anything by Wanda Brunstetter would be considered representative as well. Amish romance has only been around a little while, but as some of the tropes start to harden it won&#039;t be surprising to see authors who are motivated to stretch a reader&#039;s expectations. You&#039;ll also observe authors new to the genre jumping on the bandwagon (into the buggy?) who don&#039;t realize that they&#039;re supposed to be writing inspirational fiction. I&#039;m not sure if there&#039;s enough readership to support Amish detective mysteries, or Amish science fiction.]]></description>
