Oddly enough I was just checking out your review for the game this morning. We should have one of our own up very soon. It's been great talking with the Chaosoft guys as they really seem to be into what they're doing.

As for the game itself, I think it was the boss battles that first caught my eye a few months before release and they've been my favorite part of the game so far. I've been very disappointed with a number of RPG's that have come out on the XBLIG service within the past year and while I do have some nitpicks about EvilQuest, it's given me a lot that those other titles haven't, so kudos to the developers.

Good interview. Until I read this, I hadn't really thought about the boss fights. I'd noticed and enjoyed them of course, but it wasn't until now that I realised there aren't many Xbox indie games that attempt boss confrontations on the scale of the ones in EvilQuest.

On the promotional front, I think Chaosoft have done a very good job. I have no idea what the sales have been/will be like, but I've been running into mentions of EvilQuest all over the place for the last few months. That's very unusual for an Xbox indie.
